OSHA BLOOD-BORNE PATHOGENS (BBP) STANDARD COMPLIANCE CLASS:
This class walks you through the OSHA/BBP Guidelines. Training to include all topics currently required by OSHA to meet site annual training requirement: purpose of Blood-Borne Pathogens Standard (BBPS), pathogens covered under the BBPS-modes of transmission, risk factors, and strategies for prevention, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, personal hygiene in the workplace, housekeeping issues, disposal of sharps (broken glass, etc.) and other contaminated waste, decontamination of skin and non porous surfaces, reporting requirements and documentation, and any other topics relevant to the client’s work site.
Sample Exposure Control Plans. These sample plans are real plans that are in use in other facilities.
Each participant will receive printed material covering all program topics.
Each participant will have our toll-free, 24-hour number should they have questions or need guidance.
